New senior managers at Daimler Insurance Services GmbH

Daimler Insurance Services GmbH, a subsidiary of Daimler Financial Services AG, will be strengthening its management team at the beginning of next year by adding two new senior managers.

As of January 1, 2012, Dr. Jochen Kriegmeier (41) will join the Management Board of Daimler Insurance Services GmbH, where he will be responsible for the worldwide corporate insurance activities of the Daimler Group. In this position he will succeed Dirk Wegener (46), who is leaving the company at his own request. Dr. Kriegmeier was previously a member of the Management Boards of Württembergische Versicherung AG and Württembergische Lebensversicherung AG, where he was responsible for the business unit Indemnity/Accident Insurance for Private and Corporate Customers.

In addition, the management of Daimler Insurance Services GmbH will be expanded as of January 1, 2012, when Frank Hillen (43) joins the Management Board as Head of Global Automotive Insurance. Through this appointment, the company is recognizing the increasing importance of Daimler's global automotive insurance business.
