International Festival "Moscow Meets Friends" |
For several years Mercedes-Benz Russia provided support to the international festival “Moscow Meets Friends” organized by the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation annually at the end of spring. The festival aims at helping young participants at the age of maximum 18 years to demonstrate their talents and get closer to famous modern musicians.
The Foundation was founded as a non-commercial organization in May 1994 by Vladimir Teodorovich Spivakov (born September 12, 1944 in Ufa), a leading Russian conductor and violinist best known for his work with the Moscow Virtuosi chamber orchestra. The activities of the Foundation combine both humanitarian and educational targets as for example creation of better life conditions for orphans and support for sick children and assistance to children gifted in music and arts in their development and growth.
