Global Nature Fund

The Global Nature Fund (GNF) is an international foundation for the environment and nature. The foundation is a non-government organization which operates only for charitable purposes.

For the last twelve years, Daimler AG has been supporting the Global Nature Fund in the global protection of drinking-water reserves by sponsoring the global Living Lakes network. Daimler is the exclusive commercial partner of the worldwide Living Lakes network in the “transport and logistics” area. In addition to providing financial support, it also engages in technical cooperation activities.

The cooperation is to be continued in 2010. For example, there are plans for (re)forestation of mangrove forests and environmental education measures in India in the context of a joint climate initiative.
