The Nakatsu Plant produces and machines transmission gears in a fully-integrated process. In addition to its principal role of manufacturing gears for car and truck transmissions, the site also houses a parts depot center and storage for finished vehicles. The production line is equipped with the special equipment required for machining and carburizing transmission gears, and is laid out for maximum production and in-plant handling efficiency. The quality control department is fully equipped with engine test benches and gear inspection facilities.
