RSS: Always automatically informed
Our RSS feeds ensure that you are automatically notified whenever we publish a new news story or IR release.

To be able to use this free service, you require either a current Internet browser with built-in RSS functionality (such as Firefox Version 2 or higher, Internet Explorer Version 7 or higher, Safari Version 2.0 or higher, Opera Version 7.5 or higher), other freely available utility programs - so-called RSS or feed readers - or you can use a special website (such as iGoogle) which you can adapt (personalize) to your needs.
Using RSS feeds in an Internet browser
If you are using an Internet browser with RSS capability and you visit a website that offers RSS feeds, you will see the RSS icon or the letters "RSS" in the address bar of the browser. What you see is dependent on the browser you are using.
Examples:

Firefox 2 (Windows): address bar  with RSS icon

Firefox 3 (Mac): address bar  with RSS icon

Internet Explorer 7: address bar  with RSS icon

Opera 9.5 (Windows): address bar  with RSS icon

Safari 3 (Mac): address bar  with RSS letters

Subscribing to news from Daimler AG
This is how to use our RSS news service:
1) Simply click on the RSS feed links further up on this page or on the RSS icon in the address bar of your Internet browser (example: Firefox 3.5, Windows).

2) Select your desired subject area and create a Dynamic/Live Bookmark. Confirm your selection by clicking on the OK or Subscribe button.

3) Your browser's bookmark menu will now automatically show the headings of the latest news stories. Click on a heading to view the complete news story in your browser.

A dynamic/live bookmark receives its information automatically from the RSS feed, which means that it always displays the latest news stories.
